Honey roasted sweet potatoes make a delicious side dish. In my house, we eat a lot of grilled chicken and these sweet potatoes pair really well with most grilled chicken dishes. They are also easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time, and then you just pop them in the oven about 30 minutes before its time to eat.
As well as being easy and delicious, sweet potatoes are an extremely healthy, vitamin packed food. They contain many vitamins including Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Also, one of the best things about this side dish is that most kids will love it! The honey and and cinnamon make the already sweet tasting sweet potatoes even better! The salt and pepper balance out the sweetness of this dish perfectly!
The recipe for these honey roasted sweet potatoes is very simple, and requires minimal time preparing. Additionally, most of the ingredients for this recipe, you probably have in your house already!
